“Day 3 - Hopi and a little Hopeless”
Our third day gave us a chance to go see some folks on the Hopi reservation who have been doing great work with sustainable agriculture in the arid environment. It was pretty overwhelming, and even a little intimidating considering how much money, knowledge and effort clearly went into their setup. We were a bit down after the meeting, because our goals seemed a lot further away. That night though, we met some Navajo doing similar work close to Dilkon who turned things around for us.
