“A bit more foam in my home”
We sprayed the last part of the ceiling that remained uninsulated. We used a closed-cell foam instead of Icynene. It has twice the R value per inch, and cost less than half the money. They were in and out quickly, and blocked off the finished wood with cardboard to avoid overspray. A much less painful financial experience than my last time. This means we have a very air-tight cap on the top of our house, and now need to work on improving the windows and doors. Don't remind me about the exposed brick walls.
