Dreaming of a white february...

ow was everyone's VD? No more burning sensations, I hope. I went out last night and played 6th wheel. We trudged around in the snow from one smoky, smelly, slippery darkened bar to another. What sort of wack-job self-torturer came up with that activity, and how on earth did it ever get labelled "fun?" I'm not complaining (yes I am), because I didn't have anything else going on socially, but I just kind of "exist" when I go in those places. I'm a shadow, not a light. I stand in the corner, looking on in amazement as people yell their conversations back and forth, talk on their cell phones, and chug down various colored drinks. All to the beat of some 114 decibal, lousy pop hip-hop.
Why go? Well, it gets a little boring to sit home on Valentine's day. I'll admit to a bit of melancholy. Plus, it's not like I had to make much effort, I just crossed the street. I got to see CPA and some of her friends, and I did a little dancing, and I even used my Heartland School ID (in all it's cheap, paper-thin cardboard glory) to get in for free.
Which reminds me, I have to call and make sure I'm all set for graduation from that place. Mu ha ha...
