'm taking a much more disturbing tact in my most recent match.com responses... Maybe it's time to take a little break from the scene...
To wit: somebody wrote me, apparently their first note after signing up, and it was a pretty un-informative, sort of superficial note. Understandable when you're writing a complete stranger. And maybe that's how the rest of the world handles the "getting to know you" dance.
